Coming soon to iPhone / iPod Touch

Both of my previous iPad only games, Obliteration HD and A Long Way Home, are coming to the iPhone and iPod touch this month! I wrapped up converting Obliteration HD last night, and A Long Way Home should be completed this week. Both games should be available in the App Store for only $.99 later this month.

Once this process is complete, I will be attempting to get them published to the Android Market.

A Long Way Home – In the Top Ten Free

A Long Way Home has reached number 7 in the top ten free games in the Mac App Store. Its also sitting at number 22 in top free apps overall. Even better, its number 1 in free adventure and 2 in arcade.

In Poland it is number 1 in all four!

You can try it yourself for free by visiting the Mac App Store. It is also available to play on the iPad for $.99.

A Long Way Home (Mac) Climbing the Ranks

A Long Way Home is climbing the rankings in the Mac App Store. Yesterday I decided to make the game free to play on the Mac App Store, and what a difference that made.  You can download it yourself for free by visiting the Mac App Store. It is still available to play on the iPad for $.99.

A Long Way Home for Mac now free!

Starting today, A Long Way Home for the Mac is now free. I decided to make this game free after lackluster sales on the mac platform. After so much work, I’d rather have it be free and many people use it than make a dollar a week.

If you like the game, for only $.99 you can buy it for your iPad too! :)

Download it on your Mac using the link below.

A Long Way Home Reviews

A few reviews of A Long Way Home have come in over the weekend, all in all, they are very positive!

Touch Arcade

Pocket Gamer

The Smart Phone App Review

App Addict

Tapplayer (Italian)

I’ve heard a few more are in the works, but Google Alerts has not notified me yet. The game is currently featured under New and Noteworthy by Apple, but strangly it is under the iPhone N&N list, NOT the iPad, even though it is an iPad Only game. Hopefully they can fix that today.

A Long Way Home – In Good Company

Touch Arcade has a post on their front page about games coming out tonight, and I made the list! It’s in great company too, Tales of Monkey Island EP 2, Celtic Heros, and Flick Golf Extreme!

You can see it for yourself if you head over to TouchArcade

A Long Way Home – iPad & Mac Launching Tomorrow!

It’s official, both the iPad & Mac versions of A Long Way Home will be available tomorrow, June 16th, in their respective app stores. This has been a long work in progress, and I’m glad it’s finally out there.

The game has already started showing up in some international stores as the clock ticks over, and PocketGamer already has a quick review out.

Calming music? Check. Simple but evocative concept? Check. Yes, A Long Way Home has all the hallmarks for an indie sleeper hit on the iPad.

I hope people like this game.

Some people over on TouchArcade requested some more gameplay video showing some of the more difficult aspects of the game. The original video showed a pretty basic game. So, here it is, some of the more deadly hazards in A Long Way Home.

A Long Way Home – Approved

A Long Way Home has been approved. After almost 10 months of work, I never thought this day would come. This game has evolved many times since I started working on it, and for the better. The method of gameplay has drastically changed from my original thoughts, the graphics were done and redone and redone again. The levels were designed, tweaked and tweaked again. I have put more effort into this game than all of my previous ones combined, and it’s finally ready.

Apple approved the game last night, but I’m holding it until Thursday. That is the day it hits the app store. If you would like a pre-release promo code to do a review, please contact me.

I don’t think the simultaneous iPad / Mac launch is going to happen, I made a mistake that apple caught during the review process, so I had to resubmit the game. I’ve contacted them about an expedited review, but I’m not holding my breath.

You can read the game’s description below, or hit the link at the bottom to visit the game’s page. Let’s hope Thursday is a great launch day!
